These terms govern your use of the CubeLens iPhone app ("CubeLens", "we"). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

CubeLens scans a 3×3 Rubik's Cube with your iPhone camera (or lets you enter the colors by hand, or play with an on-screen cube), calculates a solution, and shows it step by step in 3D. Scanning and solving run on your iPhone.

2. Your account

• On first launch the app creates an anonymous account for your device. You do not need to register.
• You may sign in with Apple to link your account to your Apple ID. Signing in is optional and unlocks nothing extra.
• You can sign out or delete your account in the app (Profile). What deletion removes and keeps is described in the Privacy Policy.
• Do not try to reset, share or bypass the free-solve allowance, and do not interfere with or reverse-engineer our server.

3. Free solves and subscriptions

• Without a subscription each device gets 3 free solves of scanned or hand-entered cubes. Solving a cube from the Play screen is always free and does not use a free solve.
• CubeLens Pro is an auto-renewing subscription with unlimited solves while it is active. It is offered weekly, monthly and yearly. The weekly plan may include a free trial for eligible new subscribers. Current prices and trial terms are shown in the app before you buy and are set by the App Store for your region.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your CubeLens account does not cancel it.
• Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Use Restore Purchases on the subscription screen to move an active subscription to this device's account.

4. Acceptable use

Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with the law and the App Store terms. Do not use it to harm others, disrupt the service, or gain unauthorized access to any system.

5. Intellectual property

The app, its design and our content belong to us or our licensors. The recognition models and some components are used under open-source licenses; their notices are included in the app. Rubik's Cube is a trademark of its owner; CubeLens is not affiliated with or endorsed by it.

6. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is". The scanner can misread colors in poor light or when stickers are hidden, so check the cube shown on the result screen before solving. Solutions are not guaranteed to be the shortest. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these terms, these terms prevail to the extent permitted.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app means you accept the update. You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access for serious or repeated violations of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes will first be resolved by negotiation; failing that, by a competent court where the operator is located.
